Advanced Statistical Process Control (SPC) (3-hour Class)

If you are familiar with SPC, or have taken our introductory SPC course, then you are ready to go to the next level, Advanced SPC.

We will teach you how to create the following control charts: Estimated Weighted Moving Average (EWMA), Cumulative Summation (CUSUM), and Normalized chart.

We will also dig deeper into other related topics around SPC, such as control chart calculations (constants table), and the mindset and best practices around SPC (including prevention vs detection, SPC vs mistake proofing, and documenting out of control conditions).

We will use Minitab statistical software and example data sets from various industries, but templates for Excel will also be provided.

Upon completion of the workshop, you will have an expert knowledge in SPC, and know the theory and practical applications of SPC, along with ways to generate more difficult SPC charts in Minitab.
