Description
Did you take a Lean and/or Six Sigma training course, but never completed your certification requirement for completing a real-life project? Sign up for this program where we help you complete an improvement project (or review a past project) and we will sign off on your certification.
If you are starting from the beginning with Lean and Six Sigma, we recommend checking out our training and certification options or our online learning platform for specific topics and modules.
How does it work?
- Order this product and complete payment
- Send us information about your past training and courses completed on Lean and/or Six Sigma
- We review and recommend the best certification level for you (Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt or Six Sigma Black Belt) or help you figure out to get to the correct certification level (gaps in training or experience). In most cases, we can share learning content with you to close minor gaps at no additional cost, or can provide access to full courses at an affordable rate.
- We review any past projects you’ve done, or help you complete a new improvement project through coaching calls and emails. Average support hours about 2-4 hours, but if you need more time, we will support you.
- We sign off on your project once it meets the minimum requirements for use of tools and techniques for the Lean Six Sigma certification level you are pursuing.
- Here are typical tools used for each certification (not all are required, depends on the project):
- Lean – Project/event charter, Value Stream Map or Process Map, 8 wastes, Before/after metric, standardized work, visual controls, kanban, 5S, Daily Huddles, Communication Boards, Report out
- Green and Black Belt – Project charter, Process Map, Data collection, Data validation (Gage R&R), Process capability and stability (SPC, Cpk/Ppk), FMEA, ANOVA/Regression, DOE, Hypothesis test (before/after metric), Control Plan, Cost Savings
- Here are typical tools used for each certification (not all are required, depends on the project):
- We might also need to reach out to your manager, supervisor or leader or project team members to validate the project, even if you both work at another company.
- You receive a certification from BPI and project approval letter from a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt
Your certification will be provided by BPI, not the training provider or company you took your training from. Some organization will accept our approval of your project as evidence for their certification program, so contact them if that is an option you’d like to pursue.
