The Lean Startup methodology is an approach to apply Lean concepts to a new idea. Instead of guessing at what your customers want, this approach will help you create a Minimum Viable Product (MVP), and get immediate feedback from potential customers. If the response is good, you can continue with small iterations. If not, you can pivot and move closer to what they really want and value.
Stop wasting time and money on projects and ideas that have no audience.
This workshop is based on the popular book, “The Lean Startup” by Eric Ries, along with the book “Lean Startups for Social Change” by Michel Gelobter. At the heart of the Lean Startup approach is the principles of the Toyota Production System. This approach has become very popular in software development and startup businesses and entrepreneurs. However, it can be applied to any type of improvement, to save you time, frustration and money.
Upon completion of the workshop, you will have a good understanding of the Lean Startup methodology, and can start to apply these concepts in your new business venture, a project improvement at work, developing a new product or service at your job, or with a nonprofit or social group.
